Check Out The Cable Before You Blame Your TV

It could be a cable company problem

We just got a new television set.

Our television started to have problems with the picture a while back. We thought it might be a problem with the cable company, but then we got convinced that the television was going out. The television was not that old, but we thought it needed to be replaced.

A new television was purchased. We were surprised that the problem persisted. The picture kept shaking and going out occasionally. The problem became worse so it was apparent that it was a cable problem and not a defective TV.

We got a new television that we did not need. The cable company technician came by to check out the cable buried underground. Yes, it was a problem with their equipment. He said they would replace the cable so he put in a temporary line.

It is easy to think that the television is at fault if there is a problem with the picture.

The wise thing to do is to have the cable company check it first to be sure that it is not the television. There is a good chance that it is their equipment which is causing the problems.

Thank you for reading.
